Time's Flying!!!

I cannot believe that it is October already! These kids just make the days fly by so fast - they are the best! I had to leave yesterday unexpectedly to get my daughter and the guest left me a note bragging about them with her phone number saying she would love to come back anytime. October means a couple of things- 1) Movie Nights are back on and Friday is our first here at Glerum for the year 2) MEAP - next week we will begin our testing (look back at the info sent home for helpful testing tips) 3) Tests - We are almost done with Unit 1 in math and will be having our first official unit test Friay this week (hopefully) otherwise early next week 4)Change of seating assignment in our room - we do this each month 5)Behavior Goals being met and added to - this is exciting! 6)No yellow sheets for the first month for our room - way to go!! 7)Next month I will get to see you for conferences 8)Baggie Books have officially begun again 9)Pizza Hut Book It Minutes can be tracked for pizza coupons. 10) Your fourth graders are in the groove and hopefully loving it! Continue to check for math homework daily and track those reading minutes. Stop in to see us anytime - we even had a volunteer offer to make us new chair pockets so we will be looking good :) Thanks for partnering with me in your child's education, Kayleen
