Today was a great (but hot and humid) first day! I am hoping all of the kiddos came home happy but probably tired (and maybe hungry. Here are a couple of basics you may want to know:
Homework will be coming once our fifth grade planners are in. The planners will come back and forth daily in the binders. Everyone will be needing a three ring binder if you did not pick one up yet you will want to.
Our specials are from 8:50 -9:38 everyday and they are Monday: Physical Wellness Tuesday:Spanish Wednesday:Music Thursday:Art Friday – Technology.
Breakfast is served in the classroom again just like last year. It is not entirely filling so please send 1-2 snacks daily as well depending on your child and their eating habits. Please also send a water bottle daily.
We will have working snacks whenever the students need to eat.
School pictures will be taken Friday September 12 at 10:00.
Look for mail to come home in the binders daily.
Some of your students may have come home with their name to decorate if they did not finish today in class and that can be brought back whenever it is finished.

All of the opening day packet paperwork should be returned to school ASAP.

Our new Principal is Mr. Greg Rutten and our new secretaries are Mrs. Bowker and Mrs. Mitchem.
Ignore the classroom calendar on here until it is updated with our new special schedule. it is still showing ours from last year.
