Each student went home with a menu for our new program of breakfast in the classroom. This is brand new for us - today went great! The students will not go into the gym in the morning to eat, but, rather, grab breakfast (if they would like) in the room and eat while they do their morning work. I asked the kiddos to go through the menu with their families and talk about whether or not they should/should not take it. There is a charge for it and so the lunch account will be charged if you usually pay for lunches. If you do not pay for lunches or get reduced lunch fees, this should be reflected in your account for breakfast was well. Please feel free to call food service with any questions or concerns - but just wanted to give you a heads up!
The Tutor Tuesday notes were also sent home tonight with students for word problem solving skills. Please return the bottom portion of the slip even if you are not planning on staying for the tutor session just for our records - THANKS!!
