Tutor Time Tuesday

This week will be the second round of offerings in math tutoring for the fourth graders.  Please watch for invitations to come home with your child on Mondays (or most Mondays) listing the next day after school FREE Tutoring session in math.  Invitations will be sent home with a select group of students who have shown some need in reteaching for the area(s) that will be covered.  If your child does not come home with an invitation, consider it a good sign that they have understood that concept and are considered not in need of support at this time.  Please feel free to contact me if you would like your child to attend and did not see an invitation sent home.  There is not a limited number of spots available and it is open to all, so, I want you to know you are allowed to come if you would like. Please let me know if you do not get the invitation (which includes the permission slip too), and would like your child to go tomorrow, just email me tonight and we can make arrangements (or any Monday).

Please fill out the bottom portion of the permission slip and send it back tomorrow (or on future Tuesday) signed so that your child is able to stay after class.  Mrs. Synder will be teaching these sessions which is a huge benefit to our room since having concepts retaught from another teacher can sometimes be the key to picking up a new concept with different learning styles and teaching styles.  You will need to come to school to pick your child up as soon as the session is over.

This week Mrs. Synder will be doing a review of the basics in algebra focusing on the properties and working with variables.  She will be helping students to find solutions equations as well as work through some math fact fluency.
